Whats Going On?
Happy New Year!!
This past year the Harvest Vineyard Mission has been tested, and tried, but as always the Lord is faithful. We now enter a new year, and a new decade filled with hope, and promise of a glorious future! Right now our ministry is doing the Strategic Life Plan (http://www.newbirth.org/download/SLPStarterKit.pdf) which was created by Bishop Eddie L. Long and his ministry. Since we began this life plan we have been filled with fresh vision of purpose, and destiny. We have received vision not only for this ministry, but for the students, and staff individually as well. What a great season it is!
Everyone ends up somewhere. Few people end up somewhere on purpose.
As you know, sometimes it takes support to accomplish goals, and this year there is much to accomplish. We are currently looking at land for a new facility. Also we are trying to expand the ministry, so that we can also have an program for orphans, and widows, along with our twelve month recovery and discipleship program. We would like to expand our ministry to provide help and support for the needy from the cradle to the grave. All of these things we hope and pray to accomplish in 2010, but it will take financial support from our partners, sponsors, and friends.
We want to thank those of you who have thoughtfully supported the ongoing work of the Mission—whether by prayer, financial contributions, donation of goods or services, or by accommodating us so that we can conduct fundraisers at your place of business. We highly value your participation, as we rely almost exclusively on the support of the community. We do not require our program residents to pay the requested fees if they or their families are unable to do so. Although we work with each person to exhaust every option of raising personal support, when someone comes to us desperate for help, we will not turn them away based on their financial situation. So please know that your support is needed and appreciated.
Also, if you have a special need and would like someone to pray with you regarding yourself or a loved one, please don’t hesitate to call. One of our staff would love to agree with you in prayer for change to come to that situation.
